APPLETON — Acre Realty was recently recognized as Northeast Wisconsin’s Top Workplace for the first time ever in the Small Business category – reinforcing the company’s mission statement of creating seamless real estate experiences for consumers, while developing a workplace where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
The recognition was presented during the Northeast Wisconsin Top Workplaces banquet held on Wednesday, July 15, at Gather on Broadway in Green Bay. Acre Realty’s award in the Small Business category was for businesses with up to 150 employees (Acre Realty has about 75 agents and employees).
“This award is so meaningful to us because it brings light to our culture – which is a constant focus for us and a cornerstone that we try to improve every day”, said Acre Realty co-owner Stacey Hennessey.
In addition to Acre Realty’s company honor, Acre Realty’s co-owner Mike Karisny received the Top Workplaces Leadership Award in the Small Business category.

USA Today, in conjunction with Energage – who conducted third-party surveys for companies throughout Northeast Wisconsin and across the United States – establishes criteria for awards based on confidential employee feedback.
